At Fair & Square, we believe our choice in oil gives us the best balance between health, baking performance and ability to serve our customers. Our crackers are baked with the highest quality sunflower oil on the market: Organic Expeller Pressed High Oleic Sunflower Oil. Our oil is extracted using an expeller press, where a mechanical press slowly extracts the sunflower seeds for their oil. As a result, the oil does not contain high levels of Omega 6’s (linoleic acid), which can cause inflammation. Additionally, expeller pressed oils are more temperature stable, allowing us to use optimal temperatures to make the best crackers possible. Lastly, high oleic sunflower oil contains high levels of monounsaturated fats (MUFAs), which can help reduce bad cholesterol in your blood.
